LACP'S PRIVACY POLICY

The principle behind LACP's privacy policy is simple--we want to be trustworthy stewards of the information you provide us.

That means LACP does not sell, rent, lease, trade, or otherwise disseminate any of your contact information to anyone.  This policy includes your mailing address, e-mail address, and phone and FAX numbers.  We're proud to say that this is one of the most protective privacy policies around.

Competitions

Entrants into LACP's quarterly competitions have the option of participating--for free--in LACP's Winners' Showcases.  The showcases include a one-page profile highlighting the winning entry, applicant, applicant's company, and/or applicant's client.  Should an entrant choose to participate in the Winners' Showcase, at their opting in, we will provide such a profile accordingly and contingent upon them winning an award.  If they choose not to opt into the Winners' Showcase, only their company name will be displayed on the list of winners.

By entering LACP's competitions, you permit us to use your company's and/or client's name in reference to your entry in the competition should you win at any award level.  We will not disclose your name nor your client's for any entry that is not a winner.

Newsletters

All of LACP's newsletters follow the same privacy guidelines as detailed above.  Those who unsubscribe from LACP newsletters will not receive any more editions of the publication until they re-subscribe.  New members are automatically subscribed to SPIN, but unsubscribing is as simple as clicking a link on the bottom of the e-mail.  The same goes for LACP's free monthly newsletter.

I.P. Address Monitoring

In order to help prevent and prosecute fraud, we will track and record your Internet Protocol (IP) address for purchases on our web site.  This information is only disclosed on a case-by-case basis to law enforcement, our insurance company, and credit card processor as fraud claims are generated.
